Limetta
Also called Sweet Lime, it is the result of a natural hybridisation between the Bitter Orange and the Citron. Known in the Mediterranean for hundreds of years. In Spain this fruit has a low level of acid in its pulp. Its fruit is rounded, medium-sized and yellow when ripe. Its rind is very aromatic. Its pulp is light yellowish green, juicy and sweet. It adds a critical and floral note to all kinds of dishes. Its rind combines very well with alcoholic drinks and infusions.
